Open warfare has broken out between Davionist and Steiner forces, mostly on worlds where troops from both sides are already stationed together. Fighting is confirmed on Kathil, New Aragon, Coventry, Nanking, Kikuyu, Demeter, Algol, Benet IE, Brockway, Bromhead, Ft. Louden, Rasalgethi, and Thorin. Meanwhile, the Archon has broadcast this message to her people: “My brother claims I am unfit for the throne, yet how much more innocent blood will he spill trying to remove me from it? Is this the vaunted way of the warrior? Does this serve the people he claims he wants to save? My forces will fight if provoked, but the only thing I want for my people is peace.”
